Click To View The Video Interview Glenn Burks shares... Of all the possible businesses, why did you choose network marketing as a business? Several years ago I came to the realization that working for a pay check was just not going to take me where I wanted to go. I looked at all of the opportunities available, what I found was most traditional businesses required more startup capital then I could afford. A great many businesses stressed online marketing of products etc. After reading several books that mentioned Network Marketing as a business, I started doing my research or homework. What I found was Network Marketing was a business that would give me just about everything I wanted. The most important quality I wanted was the personal Freedom. Network Marketing would allow me to work part time without a large initial investment. I found it was a business that I could help others achieve the same thing I was looking for Financial Freedom. Was your business an "instant success" or did you experience challenges along the way? My business was definitely not the instant success I’d envisioned. I had done my research on the internet, so I figured that was the best way to build my business. After spending more time then I should have learning the hard way as to what worked and what did not, I found that I had created something that was not easy to duplicate by others. I found the company training I attended was great for their products or services. The marketing methods of the different network marketing companies, was never market tested. The testing was left up to the distributors to determine if it worked or not. Having built a very successful web site for network marketing I learned my most important lesson, you can have the best vehicle in the world, but if your skills are not up to the challenge, you will not succeed! How does Leaders Club fit into your business model? Leaders Club has become an essential, or I should say a required business tool for me. What advice would you give to someone serious about succeeding in this industry? If you really want to succeed in this business, treat it as a business. Invest in your business with, education, time, and your marketing budget. If you’re not succeeding, get the education that will help you succeed. Next, put this education into practice, start leading your team by example. Promote your business without the hype that is so prevalent in this industry. Truly tap into what your prospects want and leave behind what you want, put the focus on their wants and needs. Network Marketing does Work, for those who truly work it as a business, in a professional, ethical manner. |
