Why Knowing Your Target Market Matters More Than Anything Else...AND why you’ve probably had bad results with leads, PPC, landing pages, social networks, youtube, friends & family, ads, postcards, flyers, DVD’s, cold calling, traffic formulas, attraction marketing, twitter, email, (or any other marketing method)...There’s nothing wrong with your marketing channels. All the above marketing methods work, regardless of what various so-called guru’s try to Blaming a marketing channel for a lack of results is like blaming your phone for reaching a wrong number. The key to success in marketing is in reaching your target market and communicating the benefits of your offer (product or service) in a compelling way. The problem is that less than 1% of network marketers know what a target market really is and even fewer can explain it. That’s where the confusion sets in. We have all sorts of people trying to tell you what ideal target market for network marketers is. Some say it’s everyone, while others say it’s only active network marketers. Neither of those makes much sense. Think about it, why would a MonaVie marketer actively pursue Xango distributors? You may occasionally get a bite, but you’d be fishing in the wrong pond with the wrong bait. And we all know a story of someone that contacted friends, neighbors, their sons baseball coach, only to get rejected. It’s all because they didn’t understand their Target Market. Without a clear grasp of what the concept of “Target Market” is all about, it’s virtually impossible to define your Unique Selling Proposition or articulate your Value Proposition (both concepts LC members learn as part of our network marketing success plan.) The end result is that someone else, your competitors, will always have an edge on you. While your busy looking to your tools to deliver results, they understand how to connect with their target market. Stop Getting Beat In Network Marketing...The thing is that unless you’ve had extensive consultations with a credible consultant, someone else is probably not going to be able to tell you who your target market really is. And even if they do, if you don’t understand it yourself it’s more like you’re shooting in the dark - just hoping that you’re right rather than knowing with 100% certainty.
